Refugeeks : an inclusion tool for refugees

To contribute to the welcoming of refugees in France, and its partners launched in March 2016, the Refugeeks program, an intensive and qualifying training in web development for refugees.

Objective: To provide refugees access to a highly valued profession by offering them a training adapted to their needs, in synergy with the structures intervening with these demographics.

  • 2 months of intensive French courses provided by our partner l’Alliance française
  • 7 months of web development training including 4 hours of French per week
  • Support for employment by the teams and its employer partners

After a pilot launch in 2016 in Ile-de-France that saw 40 people enter web development training, now relies on its national network of social digital factories to deploy this program in all regions.

The program

French course

In the Refugeeks program, learning French is as important as learning how to code. In partnership with the Valentin Ribet Foundation, has developed a training program specifically on the subject of French digital and professional integration into the digital sector in general.

Courses at the Alliance Française

Simplon also has a partnership with the Alliance Française to provide French courses. This allows trainees access to high quality French language courses and better prepares them for code training. These courses are given before the code training begins.
